Kim Edith: An Introduction

Hey everyone! I’ve been so overwhelmed by the amazing response to my fabric sketchbook Into The Woods that I thought I should post a video telling you a little bit more about my work.

Here are the links to some of the parts mentioned:

And if you’d like a written transcription of the video (I know I speak fast and there are lots of you with English as a second language) you can find that here:

  1. Hi Kim! Love the introduction, so nice to get to know people a little better. Congrats on all the attention for your Into the Wood Stitchbook, it’s well deserved, it’s a beautiful work of art! I’ve been making children’s quiet books for years and have thought about branching out to create things for me – adult quiet books? 😉 You’ve inspired me to give it a go.

    1. Hi Kristy. Thanks, glad you like the book and the introduction, i’m new to making videos so it’s nice to get positive feedback! I had a look at your quiet book patterns, they look really well designed and i’m sure children love them! You should definitely try making a ‘quiet book’ for yourself! It’s so much fun and a great opportunity to use all of the textiles techniques and fabrics you see in books and magazines but don’t want to commit to a whole project! Good Luck!
