Making Purchases
When you select products you wish to purchase they will be added to your shopping cart. If you wish to delete any items or edit quantities this can be carried out at the checkout stage.
I use both Paypal and Stripe payment gateways to process our online payments which are fully secure services.
Shipping
I calculate shipping costs by weight, in weight bands/categories, so that it is more flexible for you to buy smaller items and you are able to combine items to reduce shipping costs.
The website will calculate weight at checkout but as a guide when bought on their own - most of the smaller items (mini stitchbooks, photo paper, theme packs, patches and badges) will ship as Large Letters, and any of the medium items (Stitchbooks - Kids, A5, Landscape and Large) will ship as Small Parcels. If you order several Stitchbooks or multiple items these will ship as medium parcels.
In the UK there is also free shipping when you spend over £35 when you use the discount code (see below).
I aim to ship your order as soon as possible. Provided all items are in stock all items will be shipped within 3 working days of order being placed. You will receive email confirmation once your order has been shipped. All goods must be paid for before shipping.
UK
Uk orders are sent by second class post to keep costs low although larger orders may be sent signed for to guarantee delivery. If you need an express service or can’t accept signed for parcels please contact me for alternatives.
Large Letters (up to 0.249g): £1.50
Small Parcels (over 0.250g): £3.50
£35 and over: Free - Please enter discount code: FREESHIPPINGUK at checkout.
Please note: This does not automatically get added, you have to enter the discount code at checkout to receive free shipping (will only apply to UK orders over £34.99)
International Shipping
I use an International Tracked service for all parcels due to frequent delivery difficulties with standard mail. Although more expensive, you will have a faster service and they tend to clear customs more easily. Taxes are not charged on international orders and the buyer has the responsibility of covering any customs and duties charges as the item is imported into their country.
As the website calculates based on weight, occasionally the calculations can be inaccurate (for example if you buy a lot of very small items). If you feel like this has happened and your shipping calculation is too high, please contact me before purchase.
As a guide when bought on their own:
Smaller items (mini stitchbooks, photo paper, theme packs, patches and badges) will ship as Large Letters.
Medium items (Stitchbooks - Kids, A5, Landscape and Large) will ship as Small Parcels.
If you order several Stitchbooks or multiple items these will ship as Medium Parcels.
If you order a large amount such as 5 x Stitchbooks or a mixture of heavy items such as books, starter kits and Stitchbooks this will ship as a Large Parcel.

Returns
I try at all times to deliver goods which you will love. If you are not satisfied with your purchase you may contact us within 14 days of receiving your goods.
Customers will be responsible for any return postage costs (unless goods are faulty). Please make sure you use a recorded delivery service at the time of posting just in case anything happens on its journey back to me.
Items must be returned to me in their original condition within 14 days. Please ensure that you contact us prior to sending them back. This does not affect your statutory rights as a customer.
To return faulty or damaged goods please contact Kim by email at kimedithburton@hotmail.co.uk prior to sending them back. In event of goods being faulty we will cover costs of postage and either refund or exchange the goods.
