Record your Good Times
Stitchbook Journals
These large journals started as a creative challenge - to create a fabric scrapbook page once a week to record what I had been doing. I wanted try out new techniques as well as celebrate my everyday adventures. I no longer commit to create 1 page a week, but I still like to document special moments, days out and record photos of my experiences.
Record Your Memorable Moments
A larger scale Stitchbook is perfect for a journal because you can fit several photos on each page as well as a large title and some descriptive writing. This means you can just dedicate one or two pages per event and still show a range of images and people.
These books have the most space to try out new textile techniques, use multiple layers of patterned fabrics and add decorative elements like badges and patches.
