Cotton Patches: Stitch Your Family Story

This is a sheet of printed cotton poplin decorated with 55 patches specifically designed to be sewn into a Stitchbook.
Cut around each patch with sharp scissors, then stitch onto your pages using a sewing machine or hand stitching, to easily add text and decoration. They can be stitched into - add embroidery on top of the patches to add further text and detail. Add small beads to mark places on the maps, embroider text onto the speech bubbles or section off the pie charts to show your story.

This set is themed around family history and features words and images useful when describing personal family stories. They have been used in some of the designs in the Stitch Your Family Story Book.

These can be stitched to fabric books, to decorate your pages and easily add detail and colour. They can also be glued onto paper or card to decorate scrapbooks, journals and planners.

Each patch measures between 1 cm - 11 cm on the longest side.

Please Note: The fabric may fray, so leave a small white border around each patch when cutting out, and stitch on using a zig,zag, blanket or other over-edge stitch.
