Scrapbook stencil #2: Patterns
£6.00
A stencil sheet specially designed for use in Stitchbooks, scrapbooks and journals. This sheet of mylar stencil film has been cut with useful shapes that can be painted or stitched to create decoration for your Stitchbook pages.
Either use paint to stencil onto fabric or paper, or draw around the shapes with a removable fabric pen to use as an embroidery template.
1 x A5 size (5.8" x 8.3") stencil sheet.
Suitable for craft or fabric paint and as an embroidery template. Made from 190 micron Mylar stencil sheet. Comes stapled to sheets of coloured card and kraft card packaging.
Painting: To paint, place on paper or fabric and secure—on paper you can use masking tape and on fabric you can spray the back of the stencil with repositionable craft adhesive to temporarily adhere to fabric. Then use a sponge to gently apply paint over either the whole area, or specific areas of the stencil. Leave to dry then remove stencil. Be careful of delicate parts of the stencil when applying paint.
Embroidery: You can also use the stencil as an embroidery template. Place the stencil on your chosen fabric and draw around the shapes using a removable marker (e.g an air-erase pen). Remove the stencil and embroider along the marked lines.
Cleaning: Carefully clean and dry after use. Clean in water and washing up liquid or soap and wipe dry, or leave to air dry. Be careful of delicate parts of the stencil when cleaning and drying.
