Spinnaker Stitchbook Paper Sewing Pattern

The Spinnaker Stitchbook is a fully soft book, with no metal hardware to bind. It is made using an accordion fold and is hand stitched at the spine.

The book is a mixture of ‘Bind Before Artwork’ and ‘Bind After Artwork’. The book is made up to a certain stage, you add your artwork, and then the binding is completed. The pages are folded so your stitching will not go through to the wrong side of the page. 

This design allows you to add any type of decoration; photo transfers, thick fabrics and non-sewable elements such as metals or plastics. 

Suitable for beginners, the instructions include full colour photographs.

The pattern is to make a book with 10 pages plus cover. A perfect project for using up scraps/offcuts of fabric. Each double page can be made from a different piece of fabric, or you can use the same fabric throughout.
