This is a large square blank felt sketchbook that has a unique folding design that allows you to add your artwork to a pre-made book without leaving any messy workings on the backs of the pages.
Easy to sew into using hand or machine, this book makes it simple to try out different textile art techniques and add decoration to the pages as you go along. This large size gives you the room to explore and tell longer stories or add more content.
Each page can be removed from the binding to allow you to sew onto it using any technique, and then enclose the wrong sides within the pages, hiding all of your knots and thread tails. This makes it easy to create your own stitched journal as a keepsake, sketchbook or scrapbook - See example layout.
The pages are made from polyester felt in 6 rainbow colours. Each page is secured with eyelets and ring bindings.
12 blank pages (6 folded sheets) with 2 x binding rings.
Each book is made by hand.
Including ring bindings the book measures approx 23cm x 20.5 cm (9″ x 8″) , each page (including edge strips) are 20 cm x 20.5cm (8" x 8") and the sewing area for each page is 18 cm x 20.5cm (7.25″ x 8″).
The book has a vinyl ruled title box (you can stitch your title here) and Stitchbook logo on the back. These can be incorporated into the design or covered with fabric or stitching.
Suitable for any level of sewing experience.
This is a larger version of the Rainbow Felt Blank Stitchbook (https://kimedith.etsy.com/listing/778998816) and I have included a photo with both to show you the size difference.
